A Commitment to Excellence

Happy New Year! I hope you were able to enjoy some much-deserved time off over the holidays. Even though the New Year is yet another calendar change, I believe, it brings with it the opportunity to renew our commitments to excellence in all personal and professional goals.  I wish you more experience, more knowledge, and more growth in the year ahead.

Here at Edcor, we are all geared up to serve our clients and partners better than we did last year. I’m happy to inform you that we’ll be welcoming many new clients to Edcor this year. Our competitive advantage has always been that we are a full-service Education benefits provider, and customer ‘delight’ is our motto. Even though we are veterans in the industry, we are also agile, innovative, and early adopters of any new technological advances. I appreciate that our reliable network of loyal Clients and New associates recognize this, and reward us with their business for which I am truly grateful. In 2022 we commit to continue on the path of excellence, and incorporate elements of quality in our business that differentiates us.

This is also the time in our business cycle when we exchange data with our Preferred School Network partners.  On yet another bright note, I am happy to inform you that the graduation data from last year looks extremely promising – much better than reported by some of our worthy competitors. This has reinforced my belief in the ‘Talk Less, Do More’ philosophy and I quote. “The smallest of actions is so much better/braver/smarter than the biggest of intentions. Leadership is all about making good things happen. About getting great things done. About the translation of beautiful ideas into brilliant results.” I am proud that our business has truly made a difference in learners’ lives, and their journey towards excellence! I’m also proud of the fact that all our distinguished educational partners are attuned to the needs of working-adult learners, and their programs and pedagogical designs have led to greater learner success. That’s ultimately why we do, what we do. It is rewarding to know that our tools – like client surveys and messaging to promote the TAP and our Academic Advising that enables learners to complete their degrees in the shortest time possible – have helped our clients achieve the business goals they set forth with their TA benefits.

This message would be incomplete if I didn’t touch up the fact that we all started the New Year with a New Covid variant. Honestly, the numbers reported over the holidays seemed daunting. However, I take comfort in the fact that even though the variant is more contagious, it is causing less severe symptoms and even lesser hospitalizations and deaths. The power struggle between ‘humanity vs virus’ finally seems to be shifting towards us humans now that we are more prepared and have the tools to keep ourselves and our families safe. This is the silver lining that we should all choose to focus on. Even though this seems to be a bigger wave than the initial one, I’m relieved that we don’t have to hunker down and go inside our shells. The sentiments worldwide are reflective of greater hope and promise showing that we are closer to the endemic stage, where we’ll learn to live with the less potent strains of the SARS-Cov-2. I wish you and your family remain safe and healthy for the years to come.

Finally, I’d like to conclude by leaving you with the thought that “It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.”  William Shakespeare

We have the power to steer the course of our journeys and choose our directions. May you make this year the best year yet with your hard work, dedication, and triumphs.

Let’s Future Together!
