As we draw close to the end of 2022, it’s time to reminisce the memories and accomplishments of the year that was.
Not only in 2022 but also over the past few years, Edcor has proven how resilient, resourceful, and tenacious we are. We have faced challenges head-on and made it through whatever was standing in front of us. Edcor has had a great year with growing not only our Tuition service line but also our Freedom and Scholarship lines. Our company has had countless achievements, accomplishments, and even our share of missteps that have all led to making us the best in class.
Edcor has uniquely positioned itself in the marketplace as the only provider that offers Tuition Assistance Administration, Student Loan Repayment Administration, and Scholarship Administration. Late in 2021, we were faced with the challenge of new tax laws (Section 127) surrounding how tuition assistance and student debt are to be calculated for purposes of tax-free dollars from an employer. As with everything we do, Edcor is the only organization to implement a solution for our Clients to handle this new tax law from the CARES Act. With our ability to perform CARES Act Tax calculations, we had other organizations wanting to partner with us utilizing our solution thereby accelerating our growth.
Edcor has once again been successful in maintaining our current valued Clients, along with adding many new clients from diverse industries. This is no easy feat – keeping Clients takes teamwork, dedication, and great service. Our commitment to give our Clients the best support possible has not waivered even in this difficult year. Not many businesses can say they have been in business for 41 years. It takes all of us to make a strong company like Edcor. It is exciting to move Edcor forward, and expand our capabilities and footprint within the marketplace.
One of my favorite weeks of the year is Customer Service Week, where we celebrate the great service teams provide throughout the year. The whole team plays a part in customer service whether it’s taking phone calls, processing transactions, working with our Client directly, implementing new clients, completing special projects, or supporting those that do. There is a direct impact on customer service. The customer service provided is WHY our Clients like us and trust us with their programs.
Our Busy Season is going on right now. I have all the confidence it will be another successful busy season and we will shine doing what we do best. Edcor is much more than managing transactions with our Clients; we are partners. We believe our Clients look to us to be consultative and look out for their best interest. Our focus is not just on how great Edcor is performing but also to provide information on the education industry, benchmarking and trends to keep our Clients competitive with their education policies and programs.
In 2023, we will continue to deliver the service experiences that our Clients appreciate and expect from us, placing our Clients at the center of all that we do. We remain confident in the long-term future of Edcor, that through safe and sound business practices, and our indomitable spirit, we will continue to shine and grow stronger than ever on our journey to become America’s most loved Education Benefits Administrator.
I thank our employees and our Clients for your dedication and loyalty.
We are grateful to have amazing Clients and employees as a part of the Edcor family and wish you the best of all that the Holiday season has to offer.
The year 2022 has been busy for us at Edcor, and there are no signs of slowing down heading into 2023. The best is yet to come!
