Adrienne L. Way

Owner, President and CEO

Adrienne L. Way leads Edcor Data Services as the Owner, President, and CEO of the company having acquired Edcor in 2010 after a decade-long tenure within the organization. Her journey within Edcor saw her ascend through the ranks from the Director of IT and Operations to President and Chief Operating Officer. Adrienne brings to the table a deep understanding of the company's business and operations, leadership acumen, and a wealth of experience.

Adrienne's leadership philosophy rests on a commitment to leveraging technology and delivering unparalleled service. She was involved in the design of and helped write Edcor’s Scanning and Verification System patent, the industry’s first patent. Her focus on quality, people, and processes has been integral to the level of innovation and success Edcor has achieved. She has been instrumental in helping the company navigate hardships. She played a pivotal role in the accelerated growth of Edcor since she took over the reins resulting in a 358 percent growth in the client base and a staggering 750 percent increase in net profit from 2012 – 19. Thereafter Edcor’s client retention has remained at 98% year-on-year, the client diversity has gone up by 48%, and new business lines have thrived through the challenging economic landscape and post-pandemic era.

Adrienne has been recognized as a trailblazer and entrepreneur earning her finalist positions in the prestigious EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards for both 2016 and 2017. Under her proprietorship, Edcor was certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise and a Woman Owned Small Business by the Women’s Business Enterprise Council in 2011. Adrienne also received the Patriotic Employer Award from the Office of the Secretary of Defense and earned the Excellence in Partnership Silver Award from the Chief Learning Officer. Edcor also has been recognized by Inc. 5000 for rapid growth.

Adrienne’s previous stint with Sandy Corporation where she developed training support systems for the automotive industry laid a foundation for her success. She holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Information Management from Central Michigan University, laying the academic foundation for her illustrious career.

Sara Van Wagoner

Vice President of Corporate Growth Strategies

Sara Van Wagoner is a dynamic leader and the Vice President of Corporate Growth at Edcor, where she plays a pivotal role on the Executive Team. With a passion for innovation, Sara is dedicated to charting new pathways for Edcor’s current and future service offerings, ensuring that the organization stays at the forefront of education benefits.

In her multifaceted role, she spearheads Business Development, Marketing, Partnerships & Acquisitions, and Service Line Development, driving strategies that foster growth and strengthen Edcor's market position. Her deep expertise in education benefits uniquely positions her to guide clients in optimizing their programs and to advise prospective clients on effective program development.

With over 15 years of experience in Human Resources, combined with her background as an adjunct professor at Baker College, where she taught HR Management and Training, Sara brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. Her academic credentials include a BS in Psychology and an MSA in Human Resources from Central Michigan University, providing her with a solid foundation to understand both the human and strategic aspects of organizational growth.

Sara’s commitment to excellence and her insightful approach make her a valuable asset to Edcor clients and a trusted advisor in the realm of education benefits.

Eric Kromer

Vice President of IT

Eric Kromer is the dynamic Vice President of Information Technology at Edcor and a key member of the Executive team. With a sharp focus on innovation, Eric oversees the daily operations of Edcor’s entire IT department, ensuring that technology drives success and efficiency.

Boasting an impressive array of certifications from industry leaders like IBM, Cisco, Microsoft, and ISACA, Eric is also a Certified Information Security Manager and a Microsoft Certified Professional. His credentials reflect his commitment to excellence in the tech landscape.

Since joining Edcor in early 2006 as an Information Technology Manager, Eric has leveraged over 18 years of extensive experience to elevate the organization. He plays a crucial role in supporting Clients, providing strategic oversight while diving deep into complex challenges that arise. Eric’s leadership not only fosters a robust IT environment but also positions Edcor for continued growth and success in an ever-evolving industry.

Oliver VanWagoner

Spirit of Edcor

Over-the-top cute only begins to describe Oliver. He’s also a good boy, and valued member of the Edcor team since 2021. Oliver was born on July 4, 2016, in Michigan, and was fully trained and certified as a support dog by the age three. Oliver believes that teamwork breeds success, and his unleashed enthusiasm helps others around him excel. His interests include treats, long naps, treats, spending quality time with his stuffed puppy, and treats.
