American Public University System (APUS) and Edcor today announced an agreement for APUS to join the Edcor Preferred Schools Network. APUS is a fully-online institution offering respected, innovative, and affordable educational programs to adult learners worldwide. Edcor is the nation’s leader in providing corporate tuition reimbursement, consulting, and administration solutions.
The alliance between the two organizations will provide Edcor school network clients with access to more than 180 fully online degree and certificate programs offered by American Public University (APU) and American Military University (AMU). APUS’ combined tuition, fees, and books are roughly 20 percent less for undergraduate and 33 percent less for graduate students than the average in-state rates at public universities, according to information provided by the College Board 2013 Trends in College Pricing and the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) 2012 Digest of Educational Statistics. Participating Edcor clients will receive additional cost savings through a tuition grant and waived transfer credit evaluation fee.

APUS offers a roster of relevant degree and certificate programs. Recent additions include a bachelor’s of science in electrical engineering (BSEE) program as well as degree programs in cybersecurity. Classes start monthly and are offered in 8- and 16-week formats.
