EY announces Adrienne L. Way of Edcor, Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2017 Award finalist in Michigan and Northwest Ohio
TROY MI, May 8, 2017 – EY today announced that CEO and Owner Adrienne L. Way of Edcor is a finalist for the Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2017 Award in the Michigan and Northwest Ohio region. The awards program, which is celebrating its 31st year, recognizes entrepreneurs who are excelling in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Adrienne was selected as a finalist by a panel of independent judges. Award winners will be announced at a special gala event on June 21 at the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA).

Edcor is an outsourced administrator of corporate education benefits including tuition assistance and student loan assistance benefits for Fortune 1000 companies. In 2010, Way purchased Edcor after 10 years of working there. She has led Edcor to differentiate itself in the marketplace by recognizing that each client has unique requirements and designing each client’s program specifically to meet those requirements. Under her ownership, the Women’s Business Enterprise Council certified Edcor as a Woman’s Business Enterprise and a Woman Owned Small Business in 2011.

Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur Of The Year National competition. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced at the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 18, 2017. The awards are the culminating event of the Strategic Growth ForumTM, the nation’s most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies.
